§ 7-1a-07

(a) (1) The Interagency Commission on School Construction shall prioritize public school construction funding requests for high quality prekindergarten classrooms. (2) The Interagency Commission on School Construction shall consider the availability of private eligible prekindergarten providers when determining priorities under paragraph (1) of this subsection. (b) A county board may partner with the State or the county government to address physical space constraints for eligible prekindergarten providers by utilizing existing available space at a location that is not an eligible prekindergarten provider including: (1) Senior care facilities; or (2) Community centers.
