Section 7-806 - Pupil Transportation Safety Advisory Committee

(a) In Baltimore County, the Superintendent of Schools shall establish a Pupil Transportation Safety Advisory Committee. (b) The Pupil Transportation Safety Advisory Committee shall be composed of at least the following: (1) Two parent members, appointed by the Superintendent; (2) A representative of the Baltimore County Police Department; (3) A representative of the Baltimore County Highway Department; (4) A representative of the Baltimore County traffic engineering office; and (5) A representative of the State Highway Administration. (c) The committee shall be available to advise the pupil transportation staff of the Baltimore County Board of Education with regard to matters of safety of school bus stops and the safety of student walking conditions.
