§ 9-5-101

(a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Advertisement' means a communication that is intended to influence a person to enter into an obligation or sign a contract for services. (c) 'Child care center' has the meaning stated in § 9.5–401 of this title. (d) 'Family child care home' has the meaning stated in § 9.5–301 of this title. (e) 'Large family child care home' has the meaning stated in § 9.5–301 of this title. (f) 'License' means a license issued by the Department to operate a child care center. (g) 'Registration' means a registration issued by the Department to a family child care home or a large family child care home.
