§ 9-9-105

(a) Subject to the approval required under § 9.9–106 of this title, a local school system or an existing public school may form a school–community partnership for the planning and implementation of a community school. (b) A community school or the school’s community school coordinator may solicit the assistance and support of community partners when fulfilling the requirements of this title, including local management boards created under Title 8, Subtitle 3 of the Human Services Article.
