(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Advisory Council' means the Advisory Council to the State Emergency Medical Services Board. (c) 'Board of Directors' means the Board of Directors of the Medical System Corporation. (d) 'Board of Regents' means the Board of Regents of the University System of Maryland. (e) 'Center' means the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. (f) 'EMS Board' means the State Emergency Medical Services Board. (g) 'Institute' means the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems. (h) 'Medical System Corporation' means the University of Maryland Medical System Corporation. (i) 'Study Center' means the Charles McC. Mathias, Jr. National Study Center for Trauma and Emergency Medical Systems. (j) 'University' means the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus.
