(a) Each board of trustees: (1) Shall elect one of its members as its chair; (2) Except as provided in § 16–105(g) of this subtitle, shall choose the president of one of the county community colleges to serve as secretary–treasurer of the board; and (3) May elect any other officer it requires. (b) Each board shall determine the time and place of its meetings and may adopt rules for the conduct of its meetings.
