Section 16-608 - Responsibilities of the President

The president of the College shall: (1) Report directly to the Board of Trustees; (2) Recommend the appointment by the Board of Trustees of qualified faculty members and other employees necessary for the efficient administration of the College; (3) Recommend the discharge of employees for good cause, provided that any employee with tenure shall be given reasonable notice of the grounds for dismissal and an opportunity to be heard; (4) Be responsible for the conduct of the College and for the administration and supervision of its departments; and (5) Attend all meetings of the Board of Trustees, except those involving the position of president.
