(a) The Secretary of Health shall appoint a Director of educational programs in the Maryland Department of Health. (b) The Director shall receive the salary provided in the budget of the Maryland Department of Health. (c) The Director shall: (1) Implement and operate the educational programs in the State hospital centers; and (2) Consult with the Director of the Behavioral Health Administration, the Director of the Developmental Disabilities Administration, and the superintendent of each center about the operation of these programs.
