Section 2-206 - Advisory Role of Council

(a) Before the Department adopts any rule or regulation under this title, the Department shall submit the proposed rule or regulation to the Council for advice. (b) Within 30 days after receiving a proposed rule or regulation from the Department, the Council shall give the Department its advice on the proposal by recommending: (1) Adoption; (2) Rejection; or (3) Modification.
