Section 9-403 - Effect on Other Powers

(a) This subtitle does not affect any other express powers conferred by statute on the Department of the Environment or the Department of Natural Resources. (b) The powers, duties, and authority of the Department under this subtitle supplement and are ancillary to any other provisions of this article and the Health - General Article that relate to the Secretary’s authority and responsibility to assure the purity and sanitary condition of the water supply.
