Section 6-101 - Conditions of Appointment

As a condition to a personal representative’s appointment, the personal representative shall file: (1) A statement of acceptance of the duties of the office; (2) Any required bond; and (3) A written consent to personal jurisdiction in any action brought in the State against the personal representative as personal representative or arising out of the personal representative’s duties, where service of process is effected pursuant to the Maryland Rules at the address of the personal representative shown in the proceedings.
