(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Abuse' has the meaning stated in § 4-501(b)(1) of this title. (c) 'Domestic violence' means abuse occurring between: (1) current or former spouses or cohabitants; (2) persons who have a child in common; or (3) persons currently or formerly involved in a dating relationship. (d) 'Domestic violence program' is a program established in accordance with § 4-515 of this title. (e) 'Local team' means the multidisciplinary and multiagency domestic violence fatality review team established for a county in accordance with this subtitle. (f) 'Serious physical injury' has the meaning stated in § 3-201 of the Criminal Law Article.
