Section 5-1042 - Bond to Comply With Order

(a) In a paternity proceeding, the court may order that either or both of the parents of the child give bond in the form and penalty the court directs, with or without securities. (b) The bond to be given by a parent shall be conditioned on: (1) the performance of all provisions of the order and any subsequent modification to the order; (2) the parent not leaving this State without the court’s permission; and (3) the parent not changing address within this State without giving proper notice to a support enforcement officer or other person the court designates.
