Section 5-208 - Civil Penalty for Failure to Make Report

(a) If a banking institution or an other–state bank fails to make any report or submit proof of publication as required by this article, the banking institution or other–state bank is subject, in the discretion of the Commissioner, to a civil penalty not exceeding $500 for each day that the report or proof is overdue. (b) The Commissioner may institute proceedings to enforce this section.
