Section 5-507 - Disclosure or Use of Confidential Information

Except in the discharge of an official duty, an official or employee or a former official or employee may not disclose or use confidential information acquired by reason of the individual’s public position or former public position and not available to the public: (1) for personal economic benefit; or (2) for the economic benefit of another.
