Section 6-102 - Consent of State -- Navigational Aid

(a) In this section, 'navigational aid' means a beacon, lighthouse, or other aid to navigation. (b) This subtitle does not authorize the acquisition of more than 5 acres to be used for a navigational aid. (c) If land that is needed for a navigational aid is under navigable waters and the United States submits to the Governor an application that describes the site, the Governor may: (1) cede jurisdiction over the land; and (2) convey any title that the State holds in the land.
