Section 18-203 - Information Provided to a Cancer Control Agency in Another State

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department may provide patient-identifying information for patients treated in this State for cancer to a cancer control agency in another state if: (1) The patient is a resident of the other state; (2) The Department determines that the agency will preserve the confidentiality of the information; and (3) The other state has authority to provide equivalent information on Maryland residents to this State.
