(a) A person who violates any provision of § 5-502, § 5-503, § 5-504, or § 5-505 of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000. (b) A person who violates any provision of § 5-506(b) of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $200 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months.
