Section 13-307 - Waiver of Examination Requirement

(a) Subject to the provisions of this section, the Board may waive any examination requirement for an applicant who is licensed or otherwise is authorized to practice physical therapy or limited physical therapy in another state. (b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section only if the applicant: (1) Pays the application fee set by the Board under § 13-305 of this subtitle; and (2) Provides adequate evidence that the applicant: (i) Meets the qualifications otherwise required by this title; and (ii) Became licensed or otherwise authorized in the other state after passing in that or any other state a national licensing examination with a passing score as high as that required of Maryland applicants.
