Section 13-407 - Penalty Generally

(a) A person who violates any provision of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 3 years or both. (b) (1) Any person who violates § 13–401 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000 to be assessed by the Board. (2) The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this subsection into the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Fund.
