§ 14-5c-07

(a) In addition to the powers set forth elsewhere in this subtitle, the Committee shall: (1) Develop and recommend to the Board regulations to carry out the provisions of this subtitle; (2) Develop and recommend to the Board a code of ethics for the practice of polysomnography for adoption by the Board; (3) Develop and recommend to the Board standards of care for the practice of polysomnography; (4) Develop and recommend to the Board the requirements for licensure as a polysomnographic technologist, including: (i) Criteria for the educational and clinical training of licensed polysomnographic technologists; and (ii) Criteria for a professional competency examination and testing of applicants for a license to practice polysomnography; (5) Develop and recommend to the Board criteria for licensed polysomnographic technologists who are licensed in other states to practice in this State; (6) Evaluate the accreditation status of education programs in polysomnography for approval by the Board; (7) Evaluate the credentials of applicants and recommend licensure of applicants who fulfill the requirements for a license to practice polysomnography; (8) Develop and recommend to the Board

(b) The Board shall: (1) Consider all recommendations of the Committee; and (2) Provide to the Committee an annual report on the disciplinary matters involving licensees.
