Section 16-505 - Penalties

(a) Any person who practices, attempts to practice, or offers to practice podiatry in this State without complying with the provisions of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days. (b) Any person who violates § 16–501 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000 to be assessed by the Board in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board.
