Section 17-604 - Violations and Penalties

(a) A person who violates any provision of this subtitle or § 17–301 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both. (b) A person who violates any provision of this subtitle or § 17–301 of this title is subject to a civil fine not exceeding $50,000 to be assessed by the Board in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board. (c) Each violation of this subtitle is a separate offense.
