§ 8-6a-03

(a) An individual shall be certified as a nursing assistant by the Board before the individual may: (1) Use the title 'certified nursing assistant'; (2) Use the initials 'C.N.A.' after the name of the individual; or (3) Represent to the public that the individual is certified as a nursing assistant. (b) An individual shall be certified as a medication technician by the Board before the individual may: (1) Use the title 'certified medication technician'; (2) Use the initials 'C.M.T.' after the name of the individual; or (3) Represent to the public that the individual is certified as a medication technician. (c) An individual shall be certified as a dialysis technician by the Board before the individual may: (1) Use the title 'certified dialysis technician'; (2) Use the initials 'C.D.T.' after the name of the individual; or (3) Represent to the public that the individual is a certified dialysis technician. (d) An individual may not practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice as a certified dialysis technician or a certified medication technician without certification from the Board.
