(a) (1) The Board shall set reasonable fees for the issuance and renewal of certificates and other services it provides to certified nursing assistants, certified dialysis technicians, and certified medication technicians. (2) The fees charged shall be set to produce funds to approximate the cost of maintaining the certification program and the other services provided to certified nursing assistants, certified dialysis technicians, and certified medication technicians. (b) (1) The Board shall pay all fees collected under the provisions of this subtitle to the Comptroller of the State. (2) The Comptroller shall distribute all the fees to the State Board of Nursing Fund established under § 8–206 of this title.
