(a) The authority of the Board established under this subtitle: (1) Vests with the Board at the time an individual applies for licensure; (2) Continues during periods of licensure; and (3) Includes authority over an individual holding an expired license or a lapsed license. (b) The authority of the Board shall be continuous over an individual applicant or licensee and may not be divested by withdrawal of an application or when a license expires or lapses.
