Section 9-401 - Practicing Without License

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this title, an individual may not: (1) Practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice as a nursing home administrator in this State unless licensed by the Board; (2) Supervise, direct, induce, or aid an unlicensed individual to practice as a nursing home administrator; (3) Practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice as an assisted living manager in this State unless licensed by the Board; or (4) Supervise, direct, induce, or aid an unlicensed individual to practice as an assisted living manager. (b) (1) This subsection may not be construed to prohibit the Board from taking any other action authorized under this title against a licensee, an applicant, or another individual. (2) (i) Subject to paragraph (3) of this subsection, the Board may impose a civil penalty not exceeding $10,000 for a violation of this section. (ii) The Board shall pay any fine collected under this paragraph into the General Fund of the State. (3) If the Board finds a violation of subsection (a)(3) of this section on or before September 30, 2025, the Board shall provide the individual with written notice and a 60–day period to comply with the licensure
