Section 9-407 - Penalties; Fines Paid Into General Fund

(a) A person who violates any provision of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to: (1) A fine not exceeding $1,000 for a first offense; and (2) A fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both for any subsequent violation of the same provision. (b) The Board shall pay any fine collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.
