A violation of this title is within the scope of the enforcement duties and powers of the Division of Consumer Protection of the Office of the Attorney General under Title 13 of the Commercial Law Article, if the violation results in: (1) displacement of a tenant or former tenant from an assisted unit; (2) increased rents for a tenant or former tenant of an assisted unit; or (3) another violation of the rights of a tenant or former tenant of an assisted unit.
