(a) There is a State–funded Temporary Disability Assistance Program in the Department. (b) The primary purpose of the Program is to provide assistance to low–income disabled adults who are ineligible for other categories of assistance. (c) The Program shall be: (1) in effect in each county; and (2) administered by the local departments in accordance with regulations that the Administration adopts.
