§ 10-409-1

(a) Except as otherwise expressly provided by law, a person may not pay, allow, or give, or offer to pay, allow, or give, directly or indirectly, any valuable consideration to an insured as an inducement to use the services of a public adjuster. (b) A public adjuster may pay a commission, service fee, or any other valuable consideration to a person only if that person is required to be licensed, and is licensed, as a public adjuster. (c) A person may not accept a commission, service fee, or any other valuable consideration if the person is required to be licensed, but is not licensed, as a public adjuster.
