Section 19-404 - Deductibles

(a) A workers’ compensation insurance policy issued or delivered in the State may provide for deductibles. (b) When a claim is payable under a workers’ compensation insurance policy with deductibles: (1) the insurer shall pay the claim including any applicable deductible; and (2) the employer shall reimburse the insurer for any amount paid up to the limit of any applicable deductible.
