Section 8-632 - Injunction Against Doing Business

(a) If an assessment has become final under § 8-629 of this subtitle and an employing unit refuses to pay contributions or make reimbursement payments covered by the assessment within 10 days after the Secretary sends written notice to the last known address of the employing unit by registered mail, a court may, on a complaint filed by the Secretary, enjoin the employing unit from operating until the contributions or reimbursement payments have been paid. (b) If an employing unit refuses to submit a report required under this title within 10 days after the Secretary sends written notice to the last known address of the employing unit by registered mail, on a complaint filed by the Secretary, a court may enjoin the employing unit from operating until the report has been submitted.
