Section 17-201 - Land Held for General Benefit

(a) The State or the Commission, as appropriate, shall hold any land acquired under this division to which it takes title: (1) for the general benefit of the residents of the State; and (2) especially for the benefit of the residents in the metropolitan district. (b) Without the approval of the Commission by resolution: (1) title to the land may not be conveyed by the State; or (2) public use may not be terminated.
