Section 27-101 - Violation; Penalty

(a) A charge alleging a violation of this division may be brought by warrant or indictment on the oath or information of a member or employee of the Commission or any other person. (b) Except as otherwise provided, a misdemeanor under this division may be adjudicated before the District Court or the circuit court of the county in which the violation is committed. (c) (1) Except as otherwise provided in this division, a person who violates this division is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a fine not exceeding $500 or both. (2) Each day that a violation of this division continues is a separate violation.
