Section 1-902 - Cooperation in Performing Governmental Functions and Acceptance of Funds

(a) This section applies to all counties except: (1) Anne Arundel County; (2) Baltimore City; (3) Baltimore County; (4) Howard County; and (5) Prince George’s County. (b) The governing body of a county may contract with another governmental entity for the joint or cooperative performance of any governmental function. (c) The governing body of a county may: (1) accept any gift or grant from the federal or State government or any unit of federal or State government; and (2) use the gift or grant for any lawful purpose for which it was received.
