Section 12-904 - Calvert County -- County Attorney May Prosecute Civil Infractions

(a) This section applies only to Calvert County. (b) Notwithstanding § 6–108 of this article: (1) subject to the approval of the county commissioners, the State’s Attorney may designate in writing the county attorney or an assistant county attorney to prosecute civil infractions; and (2) the county attorney or the assistant county attorney designated under this subsection may exercise the powers of the State’s Attorney in connection with a civil infraction.
