(a) Except as otherwise provided in Part III of this subtitle, an individual may not perform, attempt to perform, or offer to perform elevator installation, repair, or maintenance work in the State unless licensed by the Board. (b) Except as otherwise provided in Part III of this subtitle, an individual may not assist, attempt to assist, or offer to assist in performing elevator installation, repair, or maintenance work in the State unless licensed by the Board. (c) Except as otherwise provided in Part III of this subtitle, an elevator contractor may not employ an elevator mechanic unless the elevator mechanic is licensed by the Board.
