Section 12-841 - Penalties

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a person who violates Part III of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or a fine not exceeding $100 for each day that the violation continues or both. (b) A person who knowingly and willfully violates Part III of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or a fine not exceeding $5,000 or both.
