(a) A for-hire driver shall have the for-hire driver’s license in the driver’s possession whenever operating a motor vehicle for hire. (b) (1) A for-hire driver may not deface, remove, or obliterate an official entry made on the for-hire driver’s license. (2) A violation of this subsection shall be punished by suspension or revocation of the for-hire driver’s license as provided under § 10-110 of this subtitle.
