Section 7-407 - Penalties

(a) A person who fails or causes another to fail to submit a certification or statement of waiver to an electric company as required by this subtitle and a person who knowingly submits or knowingly causes to be submitted a false certification or statement of waiver, is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000. (b) An electric company that knowingly provides service in violation of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
