Section 28-301 - Drinking Water Testing

(a) The Commission shall conduct quarterly testing of drinking water in the Commission system for unregulated contaminants included in the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s latest cycle of unregulated contaminant monitoring regulations established in accordance with Title XIV, § 1445(a)(B)(i) of the federal Public Health Service Act. (b) Within 30 days after receiving the results of each quarterly test, if the results indicate that a contaminant is present, the Commission shall: (1) report the results of the test to the county executives of Montgomery County and Prince George’s County; and (2) publish the results of the test on its Web site.
