Section 14-619 - When Judgment Ineffective

(a) A judgment in an action under this subtitle does not affect a claim in the property or part of the property of any person who was not a party to the action, if, at the time the action was commenced: (1) The claim was of record; or (2) The claim was actually known to the plaintiff or would have been reasonably apparent from an inspection of the property. (b) This section may not be construed to impair the rights of a bona fide purchaser or encumbrancer for value dealing with the plaintiff or the plaintiff’s successors in interest.
