(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. (2) 'License' has the meaning stated in § 17–101(g) of the Business Occupations and Professions Article. (3) 'Provide real estate brokerage services' has the meaning stated in § 17–101(l) of the Business Occupations and Professions Article. (b) A foreclosure consultant who provides real estate brokerage services shall be licensed as required under Title 17 of the Business Occupations and Professions Article. (c) A foreclosure consultant shall present a copy of the license to a homeowner no later than the time a foreclosure consulting contract is executed.
