§ 5a-315

(a) Eight trustees are a quorum. (b) (1) The Board shall meet at least twice a year at the times and places that it sets. (2) The Director appointed under § 5A-316 of this subtitle shall call a special meeting: (i) on order of the chair, on the chair’s own initiative; or (ii) at the request of four or more trustees. (3) (i) The Director shall notify each trustee in writing of the time and place of a meeting at least 7 days before the meeting. (ii) The trustees may hold a meeting on less than 7 days’ notice if all trustees agree. (c) A trustee: (1) may not receive compensation for duties performed as a trustee; but (2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.
