Section 10-704 - Hearings and Proceedings

(a) Each petition, hearing, or other proceeding that was pending before an abolished or superseded unit and each proceeding or investigation that was begun by the unit remains in force. (b) The successor or another unit designated in accordance with law may complete a proceeding or investigation and enforce any penalty or forfeiture to the same extent as the abolished or superseded unit.
