Section 20-1040 - Definitions

(a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated. (b) 'Attorney General' means the Attorney General and the Office of the Attorney General. (c) (1) 'Civil rights violation' means an act of discrimination prohibited under the U.S. Constitution, the Maryland Constitution, or State or federal law. (2) 'Civil rights violation' includes a discriminatory act as defined in § 20–101 of this title.
