(a) (1) The head of the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism is the Director, who shall be appointed by the Governor. (2) The Director serves at the pleasure of the Governor. (3) The Director is entitled to the salary provided in the State budget. (b) (1) The Office shall employ staff to carry out its duties as provided in the State budget. (2) In furtherance of the purposes of the Office, the Director is authorized to execute contracts and accept grants or donations from governmental or private sources.
