(a) A member of the Commission: (1) may not receive compensation; but (2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget. (b) The Commission may employ a professional staff, in accordance with the State budget. The Commission may also contract for a curator and for the services of the Archivist of the Peabody Institute to act as curator of some or all of the objects in the Peabody Art Collection once that collection becomes the property of the State.
