Section 9-1020 - Gifts and Loans

(a) (1) With the approval of the Governor and the State Archivist, the Commission may accept, on behalf of the State: (i) a gift of any painting or other object of decorative art; and (ii) a loan of any painting or other object of decorative art. (2) The Commission shall care for any object of decorative art accepted under this section. (b) With the approval of the Governor, the State Archivist: (1) may accept a gift of money from any public or private source; and (2) shall administer and use the gift of money in accordance with any conditions of the gift.
